Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the clinical value of the changes of C reaction protein ( CRP) and ceruloplasmin ( Cp) in late pregnancy and delivery. Methods: The serum CRP and Cp of 98 normal delivery women,99 cesarean section women,38 antenatal examination women and 25 healthy women( control group) were detected. Results: The serum Cp level in the normal delivery group, cesarean section group and antenatal examination group was markedly increased compared with that of the control( P 0.01) ; the serum CRP level of the cesarean section group was higher than that of the control group and the normal delivery group( P 0.01) ; and the CRP and Cp levels in other groups had no statistical difference( P 0.05) . Conclusions: CRP and Cp can be used as predictors in late pregnancy and delivery.
