Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of systematic nursing intervention on treatment effect and quality of life in elderly patients with hypertension. Methods: One hundred and twenty elderly patients with primary hypertension were randomly divided into observation group and control group( 60 cases each group) .The control group were treated with internal medicine combined with routine nursing measures according to the patients' condition.The observation group were treated with systematic nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.All patients were followed up for 3 months.The blood pressure,medication compliance,knowledge of disease awareness,occurrence rate of complication and quality of life in two groups were compared. Results: The blood pressure,medication compliance and knowledge of disease awareness in observation group were better than those in control group( P 0.01) .The occurrence rate of complication in observation group was significantly less than that in control group ( P 0.01) .The healthy feeling,somatic sensation, sleep condition, life satisfaction and cognitive function and quality of life in observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group( P 0.01) . Conclusions: The systematic nursing intervention can significantly improve the blood pressure control and quality of life of elderly patients with hypertension.
