The effect of Danhong injection on the level of D-dimer in patients with chronic heart failure

Objective: To explore the effects of Danhong injection on the levels of D-dimer(DD) in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) . Methods: Thirty-eight patients with CHF complicated with high DD level were treated with 40 ml of Danhong injection for 10 to 14 days, the DD levels of all patients were detected. results: The levels of DD in 38 cases after treatment(0. 38 0. 21 g /ml) were significantly lower than that before treatment(1. 82 0. 20 g /ml) (P ＜ 0. 01) . The levels of DD in 7 cases at 7 days after treatment did not arrive at normal，which arrived at normal at 5 days after treatment with low molecular heparin. Conclusions: Danhong injection can significantly reduce the levels of DD in patients with CHF.
