Abstract
Objective: To summarize the learning from experience of diagnosis and treatment of bronchopulmonary cyst.Methods: The clinical data of diagnosis and treatment of 20 patients with bronchopulmonary cyst were retrospectively analyzed.The single pulmonary lobectomy was performed in 14,double pulmonary lobectomy in 2,the right middle plus upper or lower lobe pneumonletomy in 1 respectively,the left lung resection in 2 patients,the tongue section plus the left lower lobe resection in 1 patient,and excision of.Results: There was no surgical mortality in this group.The postoperative chest drainage was 100 to 150 ml every day in 3.20 ml of 1% lidocaine and erythromycin 1.0 g were injected into the chest cavity once on the 7th or 8th day to reduce pleural effusion.The drainage was removed 10 to 12 days after operation.No other postoperative complications occurred.All of patients were cured and discharged from hospital,and were followed up for 6 months to 3 years.The patients recovered well and no recurrence occurred.Conclusions: The surgery is the preferred treatment for bronchopulmonary cyst,because it can confirm the diagnosis and avoids misdiagnosis.
