Expression of RhoC mRNA in human laryngeal carcinoma and its clinical significance

Objective: To study the expression of RhoC-mRNA in the tissues of laryngeal carcinoma and the periphery regions,and to explore its correlation with the genesis,development and metastasis of laryngeal carcinoma.Methods: RT-PCR method was used to examine the expression and distribution of RhoC mRNA.Results: The expression of RhoC in the tissue of laryngeal carcinoma was higher than that in the periphery regions.Conclusions: The expression of RhoC plays a role in the growth,invasion and local node metastasis of human laryngeal carcinoma.RhoC promotes the formation,invasion and lymph node metastasis as oncogenes.It may be valuable as predictors for lymph node metastasis and prognosis of laryngeal carcinoma.
