The clinical analysis of treatment of 30 cases with sexual dysfunction with biofeedback pelvic floor electrical stimulation and pelvic floor muscle exercise

Objective: To evaluate the effects of the biofeedback pelvic floor electrical stimulation and pelvic floor muscle exercise on sexual dysfunction.Methods: Thirty postpartum and menopause cases with sexual dysfunction were andomly divided into the study group(treatment with PHEIX neuromuscular instrument)and pelvic floor muscle exercise and the control group(traetment with traditional psychotherapy and drug).The effects of pelvic floor muscle exercise on sexual dysfunction were evaluted using the female sexual dysfunction diagnostic scale and the scoring sheet survey.Results: The contraction time of pelvic floor muscle, the pressure within the vagina, sexual satisfaction, the sexy degree of self-evaluation,other evaluations and the quality of sexual life of the study group were better than these of the control group (P＜0.01).Conclusions: Treatment of sexual dysfunction with the biofeedback pelvic floor electrical stimulation and pelvic floor muscle exercise is an economical,practical, effective and reasonable approach.
