    The clinical efficacy of itraconazole combined with mosapride and nystatin in the treatment of fungal esophagitis

    • Objective: To compared the clinical efficacy of itraconazole combined with mosapride and nystatin in the treatment of fungal esophagitis. Methods: One hundred and eighty-eight patients with fungal esophagitis were randomly divided into the control group and observation group( 94 cases each group). The control group and observation group were treated with nystatin by oral and itraconazole combined with mosapride,respectively. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions in two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate in observation group( 100. 00%) were higher than those in control group( 93. 62%)( P 0. 05). Two cases with adverse reaction in control group and no adverse reaction in observation group were found,the difference of the occurrence rate of adverse reaction in two groups was not statically significant( P = 0. 497). Conclusions: The effects of itraconazole combined with mosapride in the treatment of fungal esophagitis are notable,which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms and eliminate mold spots,it is a ideal medication for fungal esophagitis.
