The clinical value of uterine artery chemoembolization in the treatment of hemorrhagic caesarean scar pregnancy in 13 cases

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of uterine artery chemoembolization( UACE) in the treatment of hemorrhagic caesarean scar pregnancy( CSP). Methods: Thirteen patients with hemorrhagic CSP were treated with UACE combined with transarterial perfusion with 50 to 75 mg methotrexate. After treatment,all patients were asked to rest in bed for 12- 24 h. The level of human chorionic gonadotropin was detected per 3 days,B ultrasound was examined every week. The success rate of operation,therapeutic effects and adverse reactions in all cases were recorded. Results: The UACE operations of 13 cases were success,the effect of hemostasis was good. All patients were followed up for 6 months and no re-bleeding. In addition to tabdomen severe pain in 4 cases,no severe complications were found. Conclusions: UACE for treating hemorrhagic CSP is safe and reliable,which is worth for clinical use.
