Surveillance of drug resistance of pathogens isolated from Lu'an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Anhui province in 2012

    • Objective:To investigate the bacteria strain isolated from Lu' an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its drug resistance in 2012.Methods:The antimicrobic drug sensitive test was determined by Kirby-Bauer method. Results:During 769 isolated bacteria strains,69.8% of gram-negative bacteria and 30.2% of gram-positive bacteria(including 45.69% of Staphylococcus aureus,42.24% of Coagulase negative Staphylococcus,8.62% of Enterococus and 3.45% of other positive bacteria) were found. One Enterococcus bacterium strain resistanting to Sugar peptide antibiotic vancomycin was detected, its drug resistance rate was 5.0%(1/20).The detection rate of Pneumonia klebsiella and Escherichia coli were 38.9%(37/95) and 48.6%(52/107),respectively.The drug resistance rate of 184 Baumanii strains resistanting to carbapenems was more than 40.0%.The drug resistance rates of 27 Stenotrophomonas maltophilia strains resistanting to levofloxacin and Ticarcillin/clavulanic acid were low. Conclusions:Gramnegative bacteria is the main bacteria in Lu' an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012.The Acinetobacter spp was highly resistance to carbapenem,Enterobacteriaceae was highly sensitive to carbapenem, and pan-drug resistant strain was not found.
