Investigation and analysis on the current situation of the nosocomial infection in a general hospital

Objective: To analyze the nosocomial infection situation of a general hospital，guide the nosocomial infection preventionand control. Methods: On Nov. 10， 2011， all hospitalized patients using cross-sectional study combined with medical records reviewing and investigation beside the bed. Results: Among 2 006 patients who were investigated， 48 patients acquired nosocomial infection. The point prevalence rate and case prevalence rate of nosocomial infection were 2. 39% and 2. 54%，respectively. The incidence of nosocomial infections was the highest in ICU. The main site of infection is lower respiraObjective: Tory tract. Fourteen pathogenic germs were detected after culture. The antibiotic adoption rate was 40. 13%. There were the highest utilization rates in ICU and department of pediatric.
