Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship between change of plasma fibrinogen(Fg)and uric acid(UA)level in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: The levels of plasma Fg and UA were measured in 71 patients with coronary heart disease(CHD),and compared with 29 normal subjects. Results: Plasma Fg (4.11±0.84)g/L and UA (362.89±155.50)μmol/L levels of CHD patients were significantly higher than those of normal subjects,Fg(3.03±0.34)g/L,UA(290.07±93.80)μmol/L(P<0.001 and P<0.01).Serum levels of Fg were higher in the severe, moderate and minor groups than those in the control group(P<0.05-P<0.01).Serum levels of UA were higher in the severe group than those in the control group(P<0.05-P<0.01)and serum levels of Fg were higher in the severe group than those in the minor group(P<0.05).Conclusions: Plasma Fg and UA are associated with CHD.There are obvious correlations in the level of plasma Fg and UA with severity of coronary artery stenosis.
