Factors affecting first induce remission for acute leukemia

    • Objective: To discuss the factors influencing first induce remission for acute leukemia. Methods: Thirty nine patients with acute leukemia were divided into two groups according to whether the first induce remission was successful or not.The inderes of the patients, such as age, sex, type of FAB,amount of the blood cell before drug therapy, concentration of LDH in serum,as well as the projection of the drug therapy and the dose of medicine were analysed. Results: Complete remission occurred in 12 patients after twice induce remission;9 patients' index of original cell in marrow declined, and 18 patients failed to response.Senior,ANLL,high amount of blood cell before durg therapy or high concentration of LDH in serum were the factors leading to difficult remission.Complete remission rate by MEA was higher than that by DA or HA for ANLL.Complete remission rate by L CVDP was high than that by other projections for ALL.Conclusions: Factors affecting first induce remisson for acute leukemia include age, sex, type of FAB,amount of the tumor cell before durg therapy and projection of the drug therapy.
