Observation on the clinical curative effect of asarone combination with Vitamin K₁ on infantile asthmatic pneumonia

Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of asarone and Vitamin K₁ combination as an assistant treatment on infants with asthmatic pneumonia.Methods:One hundred and thirty-eight patients aged from 2 months to 2 years were randomly divided into treatment group (69 cases) and control group (69 cases).The standard therapy was anti-inflammation,antitussive and elimating sputum treatment in these two groups.The treatment group was cured more with the combination of asarone and Vitamin K₁.Results:There had the statistical significance both on the efficiency and the extinction time between these two groups (P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusions:Asarone and Vitamin K₁ combination has obvious effects both on reducing bronchial spasm and respiratory tract secretion discharge,presenting side-effects happening.It is worth popularizing.
