    The primary application of PBL teaching method in histology and embryology course

    • Objective:To explore the application effects of problem based learning (PBL) teaching method in histology and embryology course.Methods:The PBL teaching method was applied in histology and embryology course to enable students to learn knowledge through questions,and form the knowledge chain with related contents.Results:The PBL teaching method increased the students' learning effect,cultured the students' self-learning ability,analysis ability and oral expression ability.The teachers' qualities were also improved.Conclusions:Using PBL teaching method appropriately in histology and embryology course can activate learning contents,cultivate and develop students' creative thinking skill and stimulate students' learning interest.The PBL teaching is worthy of further researching and extending.
