Analysis of the factors influencing the sleep of patients in ICU

Objective:To investigate and analyze the sleeping condition of patient in ICU department.Methods:One hundred twenty-four patients in ICU department were investigated with SRSS and self-designed questionnaire.Results:The SRSS score of 80.6% patients was less than 23,and they felt their sleep quality bad.The influencing factors included worrying about their disease and prognosis,scant visit,lack of company,psychological burden and noises.Conclusions:The patients in ICU department have certain sleep problems and the nursing staff should take measures to improve their sleep quality.
