Obeserve the side effects of high dose of methotrexate on acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children

Objective: To observe the adverse effects of high dose of methotrexate(HD-MTX) on acute lymphoblastic leukenia(ALL).Methods: Ten children with ALL in complete remission were studied on the adverse effect in forty therapy of HD-MTX.Results: Gastrointestinal reaction,oral mucosa and hepatic damage,and depression of bone marrow were noticed.Conclusions: The adverse effects of HD-MTX is slight and the therapy can accepted.
