Abstract
Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of flushing use of furosemide and dopamine in treatment of patients with intractable heart failure. Methods: Thirty two patients with heart function of grade IV(who had been treated with conventional therapy before) were administered intravenous infusion of 1 600 mg/d furosemide and dopamine. The SaO2,heart function, blood pressure, heart rate, body weight and serum biochemical indicator were analyzed before and after the therapy. Results: Continuous intravenous infusion of flushing dose of furosemide improved the symptoms of the patients, heightened the SaO2 and the left ventricular ejection fraction, and depressed the heart rate, body weight and serum creatinine level(P<0.05).Conventional supplement of KCl and NaCl was administered, and the variance of serum levels of kalium and sodium had no statistical significance before and after the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions: Flushing use of intervenous infusion of furosemide and dopamine can significantly improve the symptoms of the patients. It is safe and reliable.
