Investigation and nursing of depressiue state in Parkinson disease

Objective: To investigate the features of depression in patients with parkinson disease (PD) and to formulate nursing measures.Methods: Zung depression scale was used to measure the level of depression of 50 patients with PD, and the PD patients with depression were given corresponding nursing care.Results: 58% cases of PD were identified as having depression.Depression in PD patients had no relation with sex, age or occupation (P>0.05).Conclusions: The incidence of depression is high in patients with PD.PD patients with depression should receive nursing care in psychology, medicine administration, functional exercise and safety.
