Abstract
Objective: To explore the prevention of complications during the nasal endoscopic surgery.Methods: Sixty-four cases of sinusitis and nasal polyps underwent the nasal endoscopic surgery and received postsurgical cavity care and sinus washing.The complications were summarized.Results: The complications included periorbital ecchymosis(n=3),postoperative hemorrhage(n=1) and adhesion(n=5).The total incidence was 14%.No blindness or cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea.Conclusions: Familiarity with cranioverebral,nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses anatomy,detailed preoperational evaluation,perfect management during and after the operation can avoid complications in nasal endoscopic surgery.
