Abstract
Objective: To summarize the clinical features and treatment of large area acute cerebral infarction. Methods: The clinical data of 52 cases of large area acute cerebral infarction were reviewed and analyzed respectively. Results: Among all cases,5 cases died,4 were discharged automatically for aggravation of their state and 43 survived. The survival rate was 82.7%.Hemiparalysis occurred in most cases, most of whom were unable to take care of themselves. Conclusions: The disease has a high incidence rate of conscious disturbance, hemiparalysis and side-glance paralysis. It tends to be succeeded by hemorrhagic infarct, complications and poor prognosis.Lowering the intracranial pressure and prevention and cure of cerebral hernia are the key to the rescue of large area acute cerebral infarction.
