Nursing of the diabetic patients receiving short-term insulin pump

Objective: To investigate the nursing of the diabetic patients receiving short-term insulin pump.Methods: Twenty-one patients received the psychotherapy,salubrious education,extensive skin nursing,guidance of bearing the pump and blood glucose monitoring before and after insulin pump.Once the pump system gave an alarm,relevant measures would be conducted in time.Results: The blood glucose control improved in the patients treated with the short-term insulin pump therapy(P<0.001) and the insulin dosage was decreased compared to that of during therapy with insulin pump(P<0.001).Conclusions: Standard nursing contributes to the effect of CSII in controlling hyperglycemic level,therefore improves the life quality of the diabetes patients.
