Effects of incremental load training on exercise capacity

    • Objective: To study the effects of incremental load training on exercise capacity by establishing exercise fatigue model. Methods: The maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max)and physical working capacity(PWC170)were measured at five-week incremental exercise training protocol. Results: With exercise loads increasing, compared to preexercise, maximal oxygen uptake of exercise group elevated(P<0.05),while control group had no change(P>0.05).PWC170 increased week by week. Conclusions: During five-week incremental load training, exercise capacity is raised as a result of adaptability.
