Changes of serum myocardial enzyme in infants with rotavirus enteritis

Objective: To study the changes of myocardial enzyme in infants with rotavirus diarrhea.Methods: The levels of myocardial enzyme of seventy infants with rotavirus diarrhea was measured.Results: The myocardial enzyme of treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The abnormal rate of CK-MB was 38.57%,which was higher than normal value(P<0.005);AST was 67.71% which was also higher than normal value(P<0.005).Conclusions: Rotavirus diarrhea in infants may cause the changes of serum myocardial enzyme and lead to rotavirus myocarditis,so it is important to prevent heart damage,in the treatment of rotavirus diarrhea in infants.
