Interventional therapy with fluoroscopic guidance for treatment of infertility due to fallopian tubes obstruction

Objective: To explore the effect of interventional therapy with fluoroscopic guidance in treatment of infertility caused by fallopian tubes obstruction.Methods: Thirty-six patients with fallopian tubes obstruction received transcervical fallopian tube recanalization (T-FTR) with fluoroscopic guidance under the DSA.The uterine catheter devised by COOK was used during the interventional procedure.The recanalized patients were given drugs to keep effect.Results: The fallopian tubes of 32(88.9%) of all the 36 patients were successfully opened by T-FTR and 11(30.6%) patients conceived.Conclusions: Interventional therapy with fluoroscopic guidance combining drug treatment is effective for infertility caused by tubes obstruction,and is a new multi-approach to the disease.
